When you connect Google Calendar to Sync My Studio, you explicitly authorize Sync My Studio to access the Google Calendar information covered by the permissions displayed during Google's authorization process.

10.1 Why We Access Google Calendar Data

Sync My Studio accesses Google Calendar data only to provide the calendar and booking functionality requested by the user.

Depending on the permissions granted, this may include:

• Checking calendar availability.
• Checking whether a proposed booking conflicts with an existing calendar event.
• Identifying scheduling conflicts.
• Helping prevent double bookings.
• Displaying relevant scheduling information within Sync My Studio.
• Creating calendar events for bookings managed through Sync My Studio.
• Updating calendar events created or managed through Sync My Studio.
• Removing calendar events where the applicable Sync My Studio functionality and user authorization permit it.
• Supporting Google Meet links when the user has enabled the relevant functionality.

Depending on the Google permissions authorized by the user, Sync My Studio may access:

• Calendar event dates and times.
• Free/busy availability information.
• Calendar identifiers required to operate the integration.
• Calendar event information necessary to identify scheduling conflicts.
• Information necessary to create, update, or manage booking-related calendar events.

Sync My Studio does not request or access Google Calendar information that is not necessary for the functionality being provided.

Google Calendar data obtained by Sync My Studio is used only to provide or improve user-facing calendar, scheduling, and booking functionality that is available within Sync My Studio.

For example, Google Calendar information may be used to determine whether a photographer or videographer is available for a requested booking time.

Google Calendar data is not used for advertising, targeted advertising, advertising profiling, selling user information, data brokerage, or unrelated commercial purposes.

Google Calendar data is not used to determine creditworthiness, provide lending decisions, or for similar unrelated purposes.

Sync My Studio does not sell, rent, trade, or commercially distribute Google Calendar data.

We do not share Google Calendar data with:

• Advertisers
• Advertising networks
• Data brokers
• Information resellers
• Marketing companies for their own independent marketing purposes
• Other third parties for their own independent commercial purposes

Google Calendar data may only be processed or transferred when necessary to:

• Provide the requested Sync My Studio functionality.

Google Calendar data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable integration and related functionality, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.

Where Google Calendar information is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, we will delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable, subject to legitimate security, fraud-prevention, legal, and compliance requirements.

You may disconnect Google Calendar from Sync My Studio at any time using the applicable functionality provided by Sync My Studio.

You may also revoke Sync My Studio's access directly through your Google Account settings.

After authorization is revoked, Sync My Studio will no longer access Google Calendar through the revoked authorization.

Disconnecting Google Calendar from Sync My Studio and deleting your Sync My Studio account are separate actions.

Sync My Studio's access to and use of information obtained through Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data obtained through Google APIs will be used only to provide or improve user-facing functionality that is directly related to the functionality described in this Privacy Policy and presented to users through Sync My Studio.

Sync My Studio does not sell Google user data.

Sync My Studio does not use Google user data for advertising or targeted advertising.

Sync My Studio does not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers for their own commercial purposes.

Users should only upload or process photographs and other biometric-related information when they have the appropriate rights, permissions, and legal basis to do so.

You retain ownership of content that you upload to Sync My Studio.

Sync My Studio does not acquire ownership of your photographs, videos, audio files, documents, creative assets, or other user-generated content.

You grant Sync My Studio a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, transmit, display, reproduce, and otherwise handle your content only as necessary to provide and operate the Services.

Sync My Studio allows account owners and administrators to provide access to authorized team members and other users.

Authorized employees, contractors, freelancers, and team members may access project information and content when the account owner or administrator grants them appropriate permissions.

Account owners and administrators are responsible for managing user permissions and access within their organization.

Sync My Studio is not responsible for information that an account owner or administrator intentionally makes available to another authorized user.

Information and files may be stored using cloud infrastructure and third-party service providers.

Sync My Studio may use providers such as Backblaze and Cloudflare as part of its storage, delivery, security, and infrastructure architecture.

Data may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside the country where the user is located.

By using the Services, users acknowledge that information may be processed in jurisdictions where Sync My Studio or its service providers operate, subject to applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
